Join us for a fun day in a beautiful Hampshire village as the whole village goes back to the 1940s.

Entertainment includes free history walking tours, themed pubs and tea rooms, motorcade of vintage vehicles, traditional fairground, wartime cookery displays, vintage market street, Spitfire flypast.

 

Detailed Description

  • Tickets are for current registered students only.
  • Tickets are non refunable (unless we cancel) and include bus travel and entrance to the village event only.
  • Free day to spend as you wish in Southwick.
  • Departure from Student Union at 11.30am.
  • Departure from Southwick 17.00.
  • Step back to the 1940s at Southwick DDay Revival.
  • Spend the day shopping for vintage clothes and memorabilia, listening to live music, drink tea in a traditional British Tea Room, try a traditional Ale in the village pub, traditional funfair and vintage motorcade through the village and maybe even meet Winston Churchill, plus much more.
  • Dressing in vintage style clothing is encouraged but not essential.
  • There is a prize for the best dressed.
