The University is closed between 20 December and 2 January and it will not be possible to place an order during this period. Please come back on 2 January and place your order and we will endeavour to process it as soon as possible.

We are able to provide certified copies for graduates who were awarded after 1 September 1992 when the University received its awarding powers.

If you studied at Portsmouth Polytechnic (CNAA) between 1969 and 1992 you will need to contact the Open University Validation Service who will provide a proforma certificate.

If you graduated prior to 1969, please email [email protected] to check that we are able to fulfil your request before placing your order.

Once we have received your order, you will need to email us a scanned copy of your original certificate and/or transcript. If you do not have the original documents, you will need to purchase replacement documents as part of your order.

We will check this against our records and then stamp and sign it to say it is a certified true copy. We will send it to you as a pdf. If you need it to be sent to a third party, please include their contact details in your order. If you would like the certified copy(ies) posting to a third party you can select either Royal Mail or Courier and these will be charged at an additional fee.

We aim to process your request in 10-15 working days; however at peak times (July and November) this may take longer. These are charged at £10 per document.
